Why is my pharmacy listed?
A plain-English guide for pharmacists about how the public directory works, what data is held, and how to correct or remove your listing.
Why does my pharmacy appear here? Did I sign up?
No sign-up is implied. PharmacyConsultation.ie includes a public directory of Irish pharmacies, compiled from publicly available information (such as pharmacy name, address, phone number and opening hours) so that patients can find pharmacies near them. A listing does not mean the pharmacy has registered with, is affiliated with, or has endorsed the platform.
Can patients book or send enquiries through my listing?
No. A reference listing is non-interactive. Online booking and consultation requests are only ever enabled for pharmacies that have actively registered and signed in to the platform. Until then, the listing simply shows your public details and a button to call you directly.
Has any patient or personal data been collected about my pharmacy?
No patient or personal data is collected or processed in connection with a reference listing. The entry holds only publicly available business details about the pharmacy. Because no booking function is active on a reference listing, no patient information is ever captured through it.
Some of my details are wrong or out of date. Can I fix them?
Yes. Because the listing was compiled without input from the pharmacy, some details may be inaccurate. You can claim your pharmacy to manage your own details, or email us and we will correct them.
I want my pharmacy removed entirely.
No problem at all. Use the removal form (or email us) and we will remove your listing in full. Once removed, your pharmacy will not be represented on the platform going forward.
Want to correct or remove your listing?
We action requests promptly — no agreement or account required.
