1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PharmacyConsultation.ie ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
PharmacyConsultation.ie is a digital platform that connects patients with pharmacies offering the HSE Common Conditions Service (CCS) and Click & Collect services. The Platform facilitates:
- Searching for pharmacies offering CCS consultations
- Booking appointments for pharmacy consultations
- Pre-screening questionnaires for eligible conditions
- Click & Collect services for Viagra Connect and Emergency Contraception
3. Medical Disclaimer
Important: The Platform is a booking and information service only. All medical consultations are conducted by qualified pharmacists at participating pharmacies. The Platform does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
In case of a medical emergency, please contact emergency services (999/112) or visit your nearest hospital emergency department immediately.
4. User Accounts
For Patients
- You may create an account to manage bookings and health profiles
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You must be 18 years or older to use certain services
For Pharmacies
- Pharmacy accounts are subject to verification
- Pharmacies must maintain valid PSI registration
- Pharmacies are responsible for the accuracy of their service listings
5. Payments and Refunds
Certain services on the Platform require payment. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Refund policies vary by service:
- CCS consultations are free for eligible patients with a Medical Card or GP Visit Card
- Click & Collect orders may be cancelled before collection for a full refund
- For specific refund queries, please contact the relevant pharmacy
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
- Interfere with the proper operation of the Platform
- Impersonate another person or entity
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of PharmacyConsultation.ie or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PharmacyConsultation.ie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
We are not responsible for the actions, services, or advice of participating pharmacies. Any disputes regarding consultations should be directed to the relevant pharmacy.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
10. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
